5" (13 cm.) All-bisque doll with ebony-black complexion has swivel
head,black bead inset eyes,painted lashes,red lips of closed
mouth,black fleecy hair,loop-jointed bisque arms and legs,bare
feet,original costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 61-
11 (head) 31-11 (inside arms). Comments: Kuhnlenz,circa 1890.
Value Points: wonderfully-characterized face with beautiful facial
complexion,bare feet; also included are maplewood doll furnishings
including dining table with hidden extension,sewing table with
fitted drawer,marbletop buffet,octagon-shaped pedestal table and
three chairs (two of the chairs have FAO Schwarz labels).
