17" (43 cm.) Felt swivel head with pressed and painted facial
features,very chubby face,brown side-glancing eyes,brown eyeliner
and side-lashes,grey eye shadow,lightly-fringed brows,accented
nostrils,closed mouth with fretful-shaped lips,coral-shaded lower
lip with two accent dots,blonde mohair curly wig with large pink
hair bow,felt body with jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition:
generally excellent,light scuffing on forehead under hair.
Comments: Lenci,the doll appeared in the 1930 catalog as model
1500/J. Value Points: wonderful facial expression enhanced by
charming original costume of organdy clown-inspired pajamas with
applique felt polka dots,and carrying a wooden candlestick and
candle,and pink knit booties with pom-pom ties.
