18" (46 cm.) Bisque socket head,deeply-sculpted facial features of
solemn-faced young lad,dark blue painted eyes,dark and incised
upper eyeliner,tapered one-stroke brows,accented nostrils,closed
mouth with very full pouting lips,blonde mohair wig,composition
and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent.
Marks: K*R 114 46. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt,circa 1910,from
the firm's art character doll series. Value Points: finest bisque
and sculpting enhanced by artistic painting,great antique costume
highlighted by vintage celluloid pin celebrating Colonel Teddy
Roosevelt.
