12" (30 cm.) Solid domed bisque shoulder head with light brown
sculpted boyish hair,intaglio dark blue side-glancing eyes,black
upper eyeliner,short feathered brows,closed mouth with modeled
open hole in whistling manner,original muslin body with bellows in
torso,jointed arms. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 3 8774
Germany. Comments: Gebruder Heubach,circa 1912,the model could
whistle when bellow squeezed and was marketed as "Whistling Jim".
Value Points: all-original novelty doll with original romper
suit,socks and shoes,functions well.
