Description
7" (18 cm.) Classic travel case known variously as "sac du voyage" or "carpet bag" has leather-wrapped wooden base with studded borders, and woven tapestry top with brass frame and leather handles, with lock and key. French, circa 1875, the doll-sized travel case was offered in Parisien doll shops in this size for bebes and in a small size for poupees.
