14" (36 cm.) Bisque socket head with very plump cheeks and chin,small blue glass sleep eyes,fringed upper lashes,one-stroke brows,rounded nose,closed mouth with defined space between the outlined and shaded lips,blonde mohair bobbed wig,composition and wooden ball-jointed toddler body with side-hip jointing,antique costume. Condition: generally excellent,one finger tip missing. Marks: 1428 Germany 6. Comments: Simon and Halbig,circa 1915. Value Points: especially fine modeling around the eyes with laughter crinkles,fine quality of bisque and painting,original toddler body with original finish.
