16" (41 cm.) Bisque socket head,round blue glass googly sleep
eyes,dark eyeliner,painted curly lashes,arched one-stroke
brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth with
watermelon-slice-shaped smile,shaded lips,blonde mohair bobbed
wig,composition and wooden ball-jointed toddler body with side-hip
jointing. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 165 - 6.
Comments: Hertel and Schwab,circa 1918. Value Points: the
endearing urchin combines mischief and gentleness in one
expression,fine quality of bisque and painting,wonderful antique
costume.
