26" (66 cm.) Porcelain shoulder head of woman with elongated
throat and oval face,black sculpted hair in center-part waved
around the side of her face and captured in a braided chignon at
the back of head,small painted pale blue eyes,red and black upper
eyeliner,single-stroke brows,circle accents at nostrils,closed
mouth with primly-set lips,all muslin stitch-jointed body with
leather arms,antique burgundy and ivory silk and velvet
gown,undergarments,leather boots. Condition: generally excellent.
Comments: Germany,circa 1865. Value Points: highly-expressive
facial features achieved by unusual molding and painting,rare
coiffure,fine larger size.
