Description
21" (53 cm.) Paper mache shoulder head with very plump
cheeks,brown glass enamel inset eyes,dark eyeliner,painted
lashes,brush-stroked brows,accented eye corners closed,mouth with
pale outlined lips,blonde mohair wig,muslin stitch-jointed body
with paper mache lower limbs,bare feet. Condition: generally
excellent,excepting an old craze line at right side of face the
composition and finish is virtually flawless. Comments: attributed
to Schilling,circa 1880. Value Points: beautifully-preserved oll
with lovely painting and cheek blush,original body,original gown.
