19" (48 cm.) All-carved wood with socket head, intaglio painted brown eyes with pronounced black pupils and white eyedots, feathered brows, closed mouth with heart-shaped upper lip, brunette mohair wig, spring-jointed body with articulation at shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees and ankles. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Schoenhut Doll Pat. Jan 17th 1911 USA. Comments: Schoenhut, circa 1917, the model 19/308C indicating her 19" size and long "C" curly wig. Value Points: beautiful original finish with soft matte blush, very expressive features, wonderful antique schoolgirl dress with linen pinafore.
