16" (41 cm.) One-piece all-bisque figure depicts a young girl
posed dancing en pointe,her head tilted to the side and her arms
lifting the edges of her wide pleated skirt,having short blonde
curly hair,intaglio blue side-glancing eyes,closed mouth,sculpted
costume with embossed detail of collar to suggest lace,painted
flower trim. Excellent condition. Impressed Heubach sunburst mark.
Germany,Gebruder Heubach,circa 1900,very rare large figurine whose
sculpting details extend all around,and include elegantly posed
fingers.
