23" (58 cm.) Felt swivel head with pressed and painted facial
features of plump-cheeked young girl,brown side-glancing
eyes,brown eyeliner,pronounced grey eye shadow,brown
brows,accented nostrils,rosebud-shaped closed lips,blonde mohair
wig in short frizzled curls,jointing at shoulders and hips.
Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Lenci,series 109,model
54,first appearing in the 1928 catalog. Value Points: wonderful
detail of stylish costume which comprises a cream wool felt dress
with scalloped felt trim and floral-tipped ties,red woolen felt
coat whose grey collar,cuffs and pockets are edged with black
diamond point design and white lambswool borders,undergarments,red
felt shoes,socks,and a wonderful cloche cap with vibrant applique
design of a colorful rooster (see detail photo).
