25" (64 cm.) Felt swivel head with pressed and painted facial
features,slender elongated face and body depicting older
child,small pale blue eyes,brown curly upper lashes,grey
eyeshadow,feathered brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with full
lips,blonde mohair wig with bangs and long coiled braids,jointing
at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent. Marks:
Lenci (tag on costume). Comments: Lenci,model 130,marketed as
"Gherda",was offered by the firm in 1934-1935. Value Points: rare
model in wonderfully-preserved condition,rare coiffure,wearing
original black taffeta party dress with felt appliques,organdy
ruffled sleeves and collar,undergarments,socks,black felt shoes.
