17" (43 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder
plate,very large blue glass inset eyes with rich spiral
threading,dark eyeliner,painted lashes and brows,accented nostrils
and eye corners,closed mouth with center accent line,pierced
ears,blonde mohair wig over cork pate,French kid poupee body with
shapely torso,gusset-jointing at hips and knees,bisque arms to
above the elbows,lovely antique silk gown,undergarments,silk
slippers. Condition: generally excellent,restoration to fingers.
Marks: 6 (head and shoulders,and artist red checkmarks). Au Calife
de Bagdad 14 Rue de Choiseul (body stamp). Comments: Jumeau,circa
1875. Value Points: very beautiful face with dramatic large
