8" (20 cm.) Felt head with pressed and painted facial
features,large brown googly side-glancing eyes,painted curly upper
lashes,arched brows,O-shaped mouth,blonde mohair wig captured
under snood,jointed arms and legs. Condition: generally excellent.
Marks: Lenci (original foil tag,parchment label inscribed
"Castelbrotto",and cloth label). Comments: Lenci,early 1930s.
Value Points: pristine condition,wearing original folklore costume
of black wool with elaborate coiffe and black hat,silk ribbon
sash,and carrying original wooden barrel.
