eyes,mohair lashes,painted lower lashes,closed mouth with O-shaped
lip,mohair wigs,five piece slender body. Condition: generally
excellent. Marks: Mme Alexander New York. Comments: Madame
Alexander,from the series of dolls in military costumes created by
the firm during WWII era,circa 1940. Value Points: pristine
condition of the beautifully-made dolls,one with rare auburn hair
and brown uniform with matching cap,leather satchel,shoes and
socks; the other with blonde mohair wig and blue twill uniform
with blue and white cap,shoes and socks.
