17" (43 cm.) Felt swivel head with pressed and painted facial
features,narrow brown side-glancing eyes,curly upper
lashes,feathered brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with accent
dots on bottom lip,light brown mohair short hair,jointing at
shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent,light fading of
costume. Comments: Lenci,300 series,model 45,as appearing in the
1930 Lenci catalog. Value Points: the solem-faced little boy wears
well-detailed Scottish costume,the plaid and argyle patterns
achieved by applique strips of colorful felt on skirt and
stockings,leather shoes.
