Description
18" (46 cm.) Felt swivel head with pressed and painted facial
features,very plump cheeks and chin,brown side-glancing eyes,brown
curly upper lashes,grey eye shadow,fringed brows,accented
nostrils,ash-blonde mohair wig with side braids and topknot
braid,bangs,jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: good,face
and hair excellent,body felt is scuffed,some fading of costume.
Comments: Lenci,from the 1500 series,model B; this and the
following doll were shown together in a photograph in the 1929
Lenci catalog. Value Points: rare model with wonderful
face,wearing original pink and white checkered felt dress,cotton
apron,petticoat and panties,socks,felt shoes,and carrying wooden-
handled broom,with original bangle earrings on rare pierced ears.
