17" (43 cm.) Felt swivel head with pressed and painted
features,very plump face accentuated by chubby cheeks,small brown
side-glancing eyes,painted brown upper lashes,unusual blue eye
shadow to match the dress,fringed brows,accented nostrils,closed
mouth with heart-shaped upper lip,blonde mohair wig arranged with
rolled curl at the crown and two side pony tails held by pink felt
roses,felt body with jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition:
generally excellent. Marks: Lenci (stamp on right foot). Comments:
Lenci,circa 1932. Value Points: a delightful contrast of petulant
expression with dainty curls and costume,comprising blue organdy
dress with four petal-shaped ruffled tiers,pouf sleeves,felt
floral applique,petticoat,hoop,panties,socks,and white felt
shoes,the doll and costume wonderfully-preserved.
