Description
9" (23 cm.) Felt head with pressed and painted facial
features,round googly-shaped side-glancing eyes,curly upper
lashes,comma-shaped brows,accented nostrils,closed O-shaped
mouth,wool felt periwig designed with rolled curls at the sides
and a long ponytail,jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition:
generally excellent. Marks: Lenci (cloth and foil tags (hand-
lettered Miniature 5 on reverse). Comments: Lenci,early 1930s.
Value Points: the original costume of the portrait doll of green
and plum wool felt includes vest with applique flowers and tricorn
hat.
