Description
9" (23 cm.) Each is all-cloth doll with swivel head,hand-pressed
and painted complexion,facial features and short brown boyish
curly hair,pale blue eyes with pronounced pupils,painted red upper
lashes,closed mouth,blushed cheeks,muslin body with disc-jointing
at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent. Comments:
attributed to Bing,who in 1921 created his Kruse-like dolls in an
attempt to capitalize on those doll's popularity; a 1925 lawsuit
precluded any further production making the dolls quite rare.
Value Points: well-preserved little dolls in fine unplayed with
condition,wearing original costumes in fresh bright colors.
