Description
15" (39 cm.) Bisque socket head with light brown complexion,brown
painted eyes with heavily-modeled eyelids,black upper
eyeliner,accented nostrils,closed mouth with very full coral-
shaded lips,black mohair wig,brown composition and wooden ball-
jointed body. Condition: generally excellent,light surface wig
pulls at back of head. Marks: K*R 101 39. Comments: Kammer and
Reinhardt,circa 1910,"Marie" from the firm's art character series
introduced in 1910. Value Points: very rare brown-complexioned
model with especially lovely painting of the expressive
features,original body and body finish,nice antique costume and
hat,and carrying little all-bisque doll.
