All wooden carved doll, socket head, deeply-sculpted eye sockets, intaglio brown painted eyes, black upper eyeliner, white eye dots, feathered brows, accented nostrils, blushed cheeks, closed mouth with very full upper lip, center accent line on lips, brunette mohair tacked-on wig, all-wooden spring-jointed body, antique costume comprising red and white striped dress (may be original), undergarments, knit teddy, stockings, Schoenhut shoes. Condition: generally excellent, faint facial lines. Marks: Schoenhut Doll Pat. Jan.17, '11 USA. Comments: Schoenhut, model 310, the model was made for four years, 1912-1916. Value Points: very wistful expression achieved by deeply set eye sockets and unusual full lips.
