Description
10" (25 cm.) Each has highly characterized face tucked into
chest,with painted features,side-glancing eyes,scowling downcast
lips,brunette mohair wig,attached felt cap,firmly-stuffed body
with sewn-on costume in red and grey felt flannel,brown shoes. The
collars have monogram of "Dee" or "Dum". Condition: generally
excellent. Marks: Old Cottage Toys (original paper label on each).
Comments: Old Cottage Dolls,representing the characters from Alice
in Wonderland stories,circa 1950s. Value Points: delightful
interpretation of the storybook characters,in well-preserved
condition with original labels.
