Description
6 1/2" (17 cm.) and 8". Each has hard composition head with
painted complexion,moustache,hair or bald pate,and facial features
highlighted by large O-shaped eyes,metal body with ball-bearing
jointing allowing infinite articulation,composition hands and
feet. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: (original Bucherer
stamp on torso). Comments: Bucherer,Swiss,early 20th
century,depicting the beloved characters Mutt and Jeff from the US
comic strip. Value Points: rare and amusing figures in well-
preserved condition including original costumes.
