10" (25 cm.) Each has wooden head with black painted hair in
tightly-drawn chignon and with variations of hair painting around
the face,carved and painted facial features,firmly-stuffed muslin
body with wooden hands. Condition: generally excellent. Comments:
Chinese Door of Hope Mission dolls,circa 1925. Value Points:
impeccably-preserved,the dolls each wear original homespun and sack
cloth mourning costumes with rope sash.
