17" (43 cm.) Composition head with brown complexion and highly-
characterized features of plump-faced adult woman,painted brown
eyes,closed mouth with wide smile and row of painted teeth,firmly-
stuffed brown muslin body with brown composition lower limbs,painted
large brown shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Comments:
designed by Tony Sarg,described on original tag as "Mammy",with sole
distribution by Borgfeldt,circa 1925. Value Points: perfectly-
preserved rare doll with great hearty expression,original costume.
