Description
16" (41 cm.) All firmly-pressed black wool felt with swivel
head,applied felt eye whites and lips,tinted nostrils,black shoe-
button eye pupils,black wiry frizzed hair,very plump
torso,jointing at shoulders and hips,short plump legs. Condition:
generally excellent. Comments: Lenci,the doll was shown in the
first Lenci advertisement of 1920,and is one of the rare earliest
models. Value Points: wonderfully-preserved,with original reed
skirt that is interwoven with felt ribbons,wooden necklace with
three carved wooden animals,carved animal earrings.
