15" (38 cm.) Each has one-piece carved wooden head and torso with
deeply-sculpted hair and facial features,enamel inset eyes,dowel-
jointing at shoulders,elbows,hips and knees,painted shoes,original
wooden stand,antique silk and velvet costume. Condition: good,some
rubs on original painted finish. Comments: South Germany,late 18th
century. Value Points: highly characterized expressive
features,wonderful detail of hair sculpting including rolled curls
on each side along with ponytail at the back,and tousled wind-
blown curls on the other,original costumes.
