Description
13" (33 cm.) Each of curly dark brown mohair with pressed felt
face,felt feet and hands,brown glass eyes,white mohair
beard,painted facial features,jointed limbs,stitched on felt ears.
Including seated Chimpanzee,model 5335,by Steiff with original
silver button and yellow tag in ear. And yes-no monkey with muslin
torso and upper limbs with costume (jacket with felt boutonniere
and shirt and tie are original,pants replaced),with celluloid
button "Don't monkey with me",and having "yes-no" mechanism in
tail,maker uncertain,Germany. Circa 1930s.
