12" (30 cm.) and 14". Each is all cloth with pressed and printed mask face to depict characters from the Little Lulu comic strip series,each with stylized facial features,large O-shaped black eyes,comma brows,button-shaped tiny nose,and having flannel caps as back hair and tufts of yarn forming hair at the crown,stitch- jointed peach muslin body,sewn-on red socks and black shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: included are Little Lulu,Tubby Tom and Alvin,from the original illustrations by Marjorie Buell,the dolls by Georgene Novelties,circa 1951. Value Points: rare little cloth dolls in wonderfully-preserved condition,wearing original costume,the boys with original paper tags.
