25" (64 cm.) Bisque socket head with pear-shaped facial modeling, brown glass paperweight inset eyes, thick dark eyeliner, painted curly lashes, rose-blushed eyeshadow, brushstroked brows, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with defined space between the outlined lips, heart-shaped upper lip, pierced ears, brunette hand-tied human hair wig, French composition and wooden eight loose-ball-jointed body with straight wrists and flat-cut base of derriere, lovely antique costume. Condition: bisque excellent, body is original albeit repainted. Marks: Sch (in shield) 4.5. Comments: Schmitt et Fils, circa 1885. Value Points: superb sculpting enhanced by subtle blushing of cheeks, chin and eyelids.
