30" (76 cm.) Bisque socket head with delicate pale complexion,grey
glass paperweight inset eyes with shaded blue outer rims,thick
dark eyeliner,rose blushed eye shadow,painted lashes,widely-arched
feathered brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth
with defined space between the outlined shaded lips,pierced
ears,brunette mohair wig over cork pate,French composition and
wooden eight-ball-jointed body with straight wrists. Condition:
generally excellent. Marks: F. 13. G. Comments: Gaultier,circa
1880. Value Points: gorgeous early bebe with superbly-sculpted
features including very full cheeks,defined chin with impressed
dimple,and very full lips,finest bisque and painting,original body
and body finish,beautiful antique costume.
