11" (28 cm.) Bisque socket head,very large blue glass enamel
spiral threaded eyes,long painted lashes,brush-stroked and
feathered brows,accented eye corners and nostrils,closed mouth
with outlined lips,pierced ears,blonde mohair curled wig over cork
pate,French composition and wooden eight-ball-jointed body,wearing
pretty costume and bonnet. Condition: old faint hairline from
crown rim in front of ear into cheek,hands not original. Marks: 1.
Comments: French,circa 1878,maker uncertain. Value Points:
enchanting wide-eyed doll in desirable petite size.
