Description
20" (51 cm.) wheel base. 16" h. Of pressed metal construction with
cast metal spoked wheels,and having leather covered roof,seats and
front panel,the caleche has a brass foot rail,brass frame and hinges
on hood,and ornate brass and glass lanterns,and is painted original
black with red stenciling. Very good to excellent condition,the
caleche appears to be a unique craftsman model,probably French,mid-
19th century.
