38" (97 cm.) Bisque socket head,deep blue glass paperweight inset
eyes,thick dark eyeliner,dark painted lashes,brush-stroked and
multi-feathered brows,accented eye corners and nostrils,open
mouth,row of porcelain teeth,pierced ears,blonde mohair wig over
cork pate,German composition and wooden ball-jointed body.
Condition: generally excellent,body is appropriately sized albeit
not original. Marks: 16. Comments: Jumeau,circa 1895. Value
Points: very beautiful clarity of bisque with enriching painting
of features,brilliant eyes,original body finish,wearing fine
antique ivory silk faille wedding gown,undergarments,slippers,silk
purse,wax orange blossom bouquet,lace veil.
