Description
12" (30 cm.) Polychromed terra cotta shoulderhead of young girl, sculpted long flowing curls tumbling onto her shoulders, enamel eyes, closed mouth, tow-wrapped posable armature body, carved wooden lower arms and legs, painted blue stockings, black shoes, village girl costume and carrying two wooden buckets. Excellent condition except paint flaking on legs. Neapolitan, mid-1700s.
