18" (46 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder
plate,almond shaped brown glass paperweight inset eyes,dark
eyeliner,painted curly lashes,brush-stroked and feathered
brows,accented eye corners,shaded nostrils,closed mouth with
outlined and shaded lips,dimpled chin,pierced ears,brunette mohair
wig,French kid bebe body with slender shape,Chevrot hinged kid-
over-wooden upper legs,wooden lower legs,bisque lower arms.
Condition: the shoulderplate is original albeit extensive damage
and reglue,otherwise excellent bisque on head and hands,original
sturdy body. Marks: Bru Jne 5 (head) Bru Jne 6 (shoulder plate)
(original paper label on torso). Comments: Leon Casimir Bru,circa
1885,Chevrot epoch. Value Points: especially beautiful bebe with
desirable tongue tip,gentle expression,original signed body with
perfect bisque hands,lovely antique dress of the
era,bonnet,undergarments,stockings,shoes.
