14" (36 cm.) Paper mache shoulderhead of lady with slender face and elongated throat, black enamel eyes, painted lashes, single-stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, brunette human hair with very elaborate intricately woven braids in looped style at sides of face and with intricate coils and loops at the back of head, firmly-stuffed lady body, antique dress, undergarments, collar. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: French, in the manner of Andreas Voit, circa 1840. Value Points: wonderfully detailed coiffure enhances the petite French poupee; included is wooden hinged mirror with jewelry drawer. Private collection Louise Hedrick.
