33" (84 cm.) Bisque socket head,blue glass sleep eyes,dark
eyeliner,ochre eye shadow,painted lashes,feathered brows,accented
nostrils,closed mouth,brunette human hair ringlet-curled
wig,French composition and wooden fully-jointed body,antique white
cotton dress with cutwork,undergarments,stockings shoes,cutwork
bonnet. Condition: generally excellent,body repainted with some
light craquelure. Marks: Unis France 71 149 306 Jumeau 1938 Paris.
Comments: a doll representing Princess Elizabeth was presented by
SFBJ upon the occasion of her visit to Paris as a young girl; the
doll was issued in this large exhibition size in a very limited
number,and is a smaller commercial size offered by Parisian
department stores.
