Description
11" (28 cm.) Bisque shoulder head with slender elongated
throat,brown glass inset eyes,painted features,closed mouth,blonde
mohair wig,padded slender body,bisque forearms,metal lower legs
and feet with painted blue heeled shoes and stockings. Condition:
generally excellent. Marks: Lutin J.V. (and anchor mark) France.
Comments: Jules Verlingue,circa 1920,it is uncertain if Lutin
refers to the name of the doll artist or a name given to the doll
model. Value Points: with pretty heart-shaped face and original
body,the doll has antique lace wedding dress of the 1920 era,with
wide-brimmed hat and with wax orange blossom corsage and
handkerchief.
