Description
40" (102 cm.) The muslin-covered torso of slender older child has
carved wooden lower legs and feet styled as though wearing painted
black boots with button closures,with wooden arms articulated at the
shoulders,elbows and wrists,and having fully-articulated wooden
fingers with double jointing. Condition: generally excellent,one
wood separation at right ankle. Comments: French,circa 1875. Value
Points: wonderful articulation of the early mannequin which is
wearing antique blue silk Marquis costume.
