16" (41 cm.) Bisque socket head with rich brown complexion,brown
glass paperweight inset eyes,painted curly lashes,black brush-
stroked and feathered brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,open
mouth,row of modeled teeth,pierced ears,black mohair wig over cork
pate,French brown composition and wooden fully-jointed body.
Condition: generally excellent. Marks: E.D. Depose. Comments:
Etienne Denamur,circa 1890. Value Points: beautiful complexion
with fine luminous patina,original body and body finish. Value
Points: wearing well-detailed and elaborate Turkish costume of
silk and embroidered lace,with jewelry and gold coins.
