26" (66 cm.) Solid domed paper mache shoulder head with painted
black pate,black enamel inset eyes,dark eyeliner,painted
lashes,feathered brows,accented nostrils,open mouth,two upper and
two lower teeth,brunette mohair tacked-on wig,French kid poupee
body with gusset-jointing at hips,knees and elbows,stitched and
separated fingers. Condition: generally excellent,small dent at
back of head under wig. Comments: French,circa 1850. Value Points:
most appealing model has original wig,body,complexion,and wearing
fine antique costume.
