20" (50 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head,painted brown baby
hair,painted brown eyes in deeply-set eye sockets,thick black
upper eyeliner,one-stroke tapered brows,accented nostrils,closed
mouth modeled as though open with shaded lips,composition bent
limb baby body,antique costume. Condition: generally excellent.
Marks: K*R Simon & Halbig 127 62. Comments: Kammer and
Reinhardt,circa 1909,the premiere model from the firm's art
character reform series. Value Points: especially fine modeling
and quality of bisque,rarer brown eyes,original body and body
finish.
