16" (41 cm.) Bisque socket head with amber tinted complexion,brown
glass sleep eyes in side-slanted cut,black brush-stroked angled
brows,dark eyeliner,painted curly lashes,accented eye corners and
nostrils,open mouth,shaded and accented lips,pierced ears,black
mohair wig in upswept style with hair comb,amber-tinted
composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally
excellent,original body and body finish. Marks: SH 1199 Dep 7.
Comments: Simon and Halbig,circa 1895,for the French market. Value
Points: rare model with beautiful bisque and modeling,wearing fine
original silk costume with elaborate applique and embroidered
borders,matching pants.
