The wooden framed school room with fancy cornice that is decorated by the shield and flag of France,hinges open to reveal a cozy teaching setting,with natural finish on the walls that are decorated with maps,two curtained windows,a teacher's desk set at the back with rostrum,three double student desks,one single student desk,black board and easel,shelves containing a carved wooden feathered peacock and carved bone bird- watching glasses. There is a glove,bell,notebooks,bisque-head teacher and five bisque-head students. Excellent condition. French,circa 1900.
