Description
13" (33 cm.) All-carved wood except cast metal wire upper
legs,well-defined facial features on oval-shaped elongated
face,defined eye sockets and lips,painted facial features and
blushed cheeks,expressively-posed fingers,painted sandals,wearing
original metallic gilt costume,and posed on wooden base.
Condition: very good,original finish,little scratch on cheek,silk
cape at back is very frail. Comments: Germany,late 18th century.
Value Points: fine artistic carving and original finish,wonderful
detail of original costume.
