Description
12" (30 cm.) Wax shoulderhead, cobalt blue glass eyes, closed mouth, blonde mohair wig, original muslin body, wax-over-paper mache lower arms. Condition: some typical light craquelure in face, smaller doll missing foot. Comments: Germany, circa 1880. Value Points: the doll is wearing her original dress and undergarments, wonderful brown leather boots, and is carrying her own little doll. Private collection Lorna Lieberman.
