14" (36 cm.) Bisque socket head with very plump cheeks,almond- shaped brown glass paperweight inset eyes,dark eyeliner,painted lashes,brush-stroked brows with feathered details,accented eye corners and nostrils,outlined closed mouth,pierced ears,blonde mohair wig over cork pate,French composition and wooden eight- loose-ball-jointed body with straight wrists,wearing lovely coral satin antique dress with lace trim,bonnet,undergarments,socks,leather shoes,and bone-handled coral satin parasol. Condition: generally excellent,original body finish. Marks: F. 6 G. (block letters). Comments: Gaultier,circa 1880,early model bebe from the illustrious firm. Value Points: very beautiful bebe whose delicate pale complexion nicely contrasts her plump dimpled chin and cheeks and rich brown eyes.
